Capture a selected area

Crop & Capture selects a region directly on the active web page before opening it in the Image Editor.

Before you start

Make the target tab active, close temporary menus you do not want in the image and open Ludexa from the toolbar.

Choose Screenshot, then Crop & Capture. Ludexa returns to the active page and displays an area-selection layer.

Press and drag from one corner of the desired region to the opposite corner. Release to confirm the rectangle.

The selection opens in Ludexa Image Editor. Use Crop, rotation, proportional resize, undo or redo, then download PNG.

The selection layer does not appear

Internal chrome:// pages and some restricted pages do not allow content-script capture. Try a normal website and reload the extension.

The wrong area was captured

Use Crop in the Image Editor or close it and repeat Crop & Capture from the source page.
