1. Open File & output

Choose Configuration and expand File & output. Enter the file name without relying on the automatic recording timestamp.

2. Choose MP4 or GIF

MP4

Uses interoperable H.264 video and AAC audio for broad compatibility with messaging and upload platforms.

GIF

Creates a silent looping animation. Use it for short clips because GIF files grow quickly and require substantial memory.

3. Choose the canvas

Original

Keeps the source aspect ratio.

16:9

Landscape presentations and standard video players.

9:16

Vertical mobile and social content.

1:1

Square posts and compact embeds.

4. Choose quality

Select 720p for smaller, faster output or 1080p for Full HD detail. 1080p is not 4K and generally takes longer to render.

5. Export and monitor progress

Select Export video. The button shows a spinner and progress, stays blocked throughout rendering and remains in progress even if you inspect another effect.

6. Finish or recover

On success, Ludexa confirms completion and lets Chrome save the file. On failure, the project remains local so you can retry or reduce output complexity.
