1. Decide which audio you need

Microphone captures narration. Shared audio captures sound offered by the selected Chrome source. Enable either one or both before recording.

Narration only

Enable Microphone and leave Shared audio off.

Demo audio only

Enable Shared audio and leave Microphone off.

Narration and demo audio

Enable both. Ludexa mixes them into the original recording audio.

2. Grant microphone access

Turn on Microphone. When Chrome asks for permission, choose Allow. If access was denied previously, use the site controls in the address bar or Chrome privacy settings to restore it.

3. Share source audio

Turn on Shared audio and select Start recording. In Chrome's native chooser, enable Share audio when that option appears.

Chrome tab

Window

Audio availability varies by application and operating system.

Entire screen

System audio availability depends on Chrome and operating-system support.

4. Verify the result

After stopping, play a short section in the editor. Configuration lets you adjust the original audio level, but audio that was never captured cannot be reconstructed.
